Peekaboo , an early detection test that determines fetal gender using advanced DNA testing. The highly-accurate test can inform expectant parents of their baby’s gender as early as 7 weeks into pregnancy, as opposed to the 18-22 weeks typical for traditional ultrasound gender detection.

When I began creating the packaging design for Peekaboo, I knew it needed to stand out in a market that was rapidly evolving. My research started with a deep dive into similar products, studying their packaging, messaging, and user experience to understand what worked and where gaps existed. From there, I let my imagination run wild, brainstorming “blue sky” ideas that captured the excitement, anticipation, and joy of new parents eager to learn more about their child. I then worked backwards to refine these concepts into what was actually achievable, balancing creativity with practical considerations like manufacturing costs and requirements. Peekaboo has now sold over 20 million tests, making a real impact for parents worldwide.
